Time-crossed lovers Ashley Duvall and medieval Lord Robert Spycer plan to marry in modern day Texas but are interrupted and chased by an unscrupulous London antiquities dealer who hopes to catch a time traveler. Escaping through a Guardian stone, Robert, Ashley, her mother and brother land in 1863 Lawrence, Kansas amid Civil War strife. The foursome must fight their way back home, but not without surprises from the past, a timely wedding, and a familiar witch.
